Jeroen was born in Mechelen, Belgium.  As a child he drew constantly, the intricate delicacy of human behavior was his only muse.  His grandmother, Louise Valenteyn, was a source of inspiration, giving him his artistic and stylistic footprint.  After her death, Jeroen decided to become a social worker instead of going to art school; however, as the years passed, he could not deny his passion for making art.  Lady Estelle was born as a tribute to his grandmother, but also as an original idea.  Jeroen believes that Lady Estelle represents his deepest and most honest interpretation of how life should be.
